I would have to agree - you have to be raised on them to have the craving! And I really don't drink Ale8's anymore, but just seeing that green bottle brings a smile to my face. But the chips - I can eat whole bags at one sitting!

I will be banished from Winchester by saying this: Grippo's and Ale8's are an aquired taste for me...and pimento cheese. But I still try them everytime they are around. I can't become a food snob, right?

I just wanted to tell you that I know your feeling on the potato chips. I have a small amount of a bag left and looking for more. I'm in Phoenix Arizona and as you know they are in Ohio and the surrounding area.
I did go to their website which is under construction. I guess have to switch to plan B and ask the family to mail me some.
I also love Husmans BBQ but was unable to get those my last trip back to Indiana.
I think memories are great, I remember eating them at the bowling alley saturday mornings in the junior league.
BUT I think the taste and sweet spicy mix is the key.
Good luck and I hope they get that website up soon.

Wow, El Paso? That has to be quite a change from Winchester. I am in Salt Lake (Sandy) and my wife and I have a 4 year old girl, a 2 year old boy, and another boy on the way in October. The kids keep us busy and really make us laugh. I am in my third year of practicing law and work for a firm in downtown Salt Lake. I saw that Jeffrey is in law school at Vanderbilt. Good for him, I have an appreciation for anyone who goes through the rigors of law school. It is shocking to think I've been home from my mission for 10 years! Life is great though. My family blog is www.jshales.blogspot.com Stop by some time and leave a comment.

Hey Elder Hales! Great to hear from you. I guess if you've read the blog you know how all our kids are scattered now and we have even left the beautiful green grass of KY for the warm sunshine and sand of El Paso, TX.

Hope all is well with you! Where are you now and what's keeping you busy?

Hi Chugg Family,

I happened to come across your website when I was googling some of my favorite families from my mission days. It looks like you all are doing well and are happy. I have some great memories of Winchester and spending time at your house. Drop me a line when you get a chance.
