Emily in front of Alderete Middle School
Emily’s first day of Middle School! She’s a big 6th grader now and growing into such a lovely young lady. She only has 2 more weeks in Primary and then she will graduate to Young Women. She’s excited about turning 12, starting a new Middle School, and becoming an official YW. There’s also picture of Ollie Moe checking the new backpack. We had to break down and get a new backpack this year – seems Miss Em has outgrown Scooby Doo!

Almost 12, sheesh…. I’m kind of liking this whole uniform thing. Takes the pressure off. I’m glad you posted new things. Hope all is well!
Emily was not at all impressed with the dress code. She can wear jeans, though. But she can only wear school t-shirts and their school colors are orange, silver, and white. We have to buy the shirts from the school, too. Which I think is really weird…. talk about a monopoly!
Tell Lincoln I’ll let Popa know he likes Choo-Choo chairs too! Christmas is just around the corner!
